The Story of hh-coffee

 

The hh in hh-coffee comes from hip hippos, a new, small woman-owned business. We are a family run mother-daughter business. Our logo is the hippo, a family totem from DRCongo in central Africa.

COFFEE

hip hippos headquarters is in Bologna Italy.  We give our customers a shop with a variety of  Italian brands of coffee through one-time sales and subscriptions.

DRINK COFFEE LIKE AN ITALIAN.  Italy is a nation with a rich coffee tradition. Cafes abound and people appreciate a quick espresso "cafe normale" or cappucino. On my site I will share with you even more stories, recipes and authentic coffee traditions. Visit my coffee blog. 

DESIGN 

hip hippos clothing designs reflect my life experiences and are inspired by African Wax, my own woodcut prints, Italian life style, and American know-how. And many of my designs make a statement. I live in Italy and travel the world. 

Because we are new (and small), we will be working around the clock to add more value for our customers. Keep checking back with us as we add more items regularly.

As a designer I like to use African Wax to represent  my African mind. I like to celebrate the beauty of Africa's abundance of art and culture. My work is available all over hip hippos on T shirts, crop tops, sweatpants, dresses, shoes, and keepsake items.

My Fine Art uses techniques like: woodcut, acquatint, stencil, collage sewing, staining and printing to produce a group of variable editions and monoprints. My art work is available on a selection of cards, digitally printed posters which are framed and unframed.
